Hi, I’m Tony!
your stylish celebrant
I live in Eversley on the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire borders.
I decided to become a Celebrant after a conversation with my son, about his own wedding, and how to keep the numbers down due to Covid restrictions. Jokingly, I suggested I could be his Celebrant, and he jumped at the idea. I spoke with many friends, and family, and they felt I would make a perfect Celebrant, and, as they say, the rest is history.
More about Tony
I have always been a storyteller, and, have a fabulous imagination, and, whilst I may not tell my friends, I am a true romantic at heart.
When my sons were young, instead of reading a bedtime story to them, I would ask them for their story ideas, and make a story up on the spot, adding to it and, enhancing it each evening until it’s conclusion.
Being a Celebrant is a perfect job for me. What makes me most happy is knowing that I have added some magic to a couple’s special day and seeing that look that says they know they chose the right person. That’s what makes this role so magical.
I am a good person in a crisis, seldom get flustered, and have been told on many occasions that I have a calming influence, perfect for a Celebrant role. I enjoy dressing smart for an occasion, and am sometimes ribbed by my family and partner, Juliah, for having three double wardrobes full of clothes, all in perfect order, yes, a little OCD!
Most of my previous career was in Consultative Sales Management. This means that I have always focused on the needs of my clients rather than the product that’s being sold. Therefore, I appreciate and understand the importance of listening. I mentioned I am a good storyteller, but I am an equally good listener, enabling me to write a ceremony script exactly as you would wish.
I will always give 100% to my couples and am there to support you all the way.
When I’m not being a Celebrant I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, hosting barbecues, and buying and selling antiques.
I look forward to meeting with you and hearing your Love Story!
